&
Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, held in the gym of the downtown Portland club.
Our association with this club dates to when Transformit consisted of Cindy and her dog, with a shop too small to dry run her work.

the Vancouver, B.C. headquarters of Discovery Parks Trust

lead visitors through the entry atrium into the shared public space of the cafe.
A third piece in the boardroom also leads to the cafe.

Non-Shoppers' Refuge

while shoppers, typically women, take care of business.

Fear No Art

Recently Paul LePage, Maine's new governor, ordered the removal of public art from the
S
tate Department of Labor's headquarters.
Painted in 2008 by Judy Taylor, the mural depicts important events and people in Maine's labor history.
Our governor thinks the mural offends business people.
